     Elizabeth Nisbet was the daughter of Matthew Nisbet.1 She married Reverend George Hamilton de la Poer Beresford, son of Rev. Hon. George Beresford and Susan Gorges, in November 1829.1 She died in November 1847.
     Her married name became Beresford.

     Marianne Sarah Saunderson was the daughter of Robert Saunderson.1 She married, firstly, Reverend John Delap before 1853.1 She married, secondly, Reverend George Hamilton de la Poer Beresford, son of Rev. Hon. George Beresford and Susan Gorges, on 2 March 1853.2 She died on 1 February 1884.1
     From before 1853, her married name became Delap.1 Her married name became Beresford.

Maj.-Gen. George de la Poer Beresford1

     Maj.-Gen. George de la Poer Beresford was born on 16 August 1830.1 He was the son of Reverend George Hamilton de la Poer Beresford and Elizabeth Nisbet.1 He married Hester Beatrice Bury, daughter of Reverend Robert Bury and Letitia Barry, on 16 February 1865 at St. James, Westminster, London, England.1,2 He died on 7 October 1913 at age 83.1
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Madras Staff Corps.1

     Elizabeth Beresford was born on 29 June 1834 at Ireland.2 She was the daughter of Reverend George Hamilton de la Poer Beresford and Elizabeth Nisbet.1 She married General James Maurice Primrose, son of James Primrose, on 12 October 1857 at Bangalore, Madras, India.1,2 She died on 13 June 1925 at age 90 at Lavender Cottage, Sunninghill, Berkshire, England.1,2
     From 12 October 1857, her married name became Primrose.
