Hester Beatrice Bury was the daughter of Reverend Robert Bury and Letitia Barry.1,2 She married, firstly, Captain Francis Fox, son of Reverend John James Fox and Harriet Louisa Beresford, in 1861.2 She married, secondly, Maj.-Gen. George de la Poer Beresford, son of Reverend George Hamilton de la Poer Beresford and Elizabeth Nisbet, on 16 February 1865 at St. James, Westminster, London, England.1,3 She died on 9 May 1913.1
