William Cuninghame, 12th Earl of Glencairn1

     William Cuninghame, 12th Earl of Glencairn was the son of John Cuninghame, 11th Earl of Glencairn and Lady Jean Erskine.1,2 He married Lady Henrietta Stewart, daughter of Alexander Stewart, 3rd Earl of Galloway and Lady Mary Douglas, on 20 November 1704.1 He died on 14 March 1733/34.1
     He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Scotland]1 He succeeded as the 12th Lord Kilmaurs [S., 1464] on 14 December 1703.1 He succeeded as the 12th Earl of Glencairn [S., 1488] on 14 December 1703.1 He held the office of Governor Dumbarton Castle between 1715 and 1734.1

     Lt.-Gen. Hon. James Stewart was baptised on 20 August 1695 at Penninghame, Wigtownshire, ScotlandG.2 He was the son of James Stewart, 5th Earl of Galloway and Lady Catherine Montgomerie.1 He died on 27 April 1768 at age 72 at Cally House, Gatehouse of Fleet, Kirkcudbrightshire, ScotlandG.3
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for the Wigton Burghs.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 37th Regiment.1

     George Augustus Frederick Wellington Stewart-Mackenzie was born on 21 November 1824.1 He was the son of Rt. Hon. James Alexander Stewart-Mackenzie and Hon. Mary Frederica Elizabeth Mackenzie.1 He married Maria Louisa Marriott, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Thomas Marriott, on 6 November 1850.1 He died on 15 July 1852 at age 27.1

James Alexander Stewart-Mackenzie and Hon. Mary Frederica Elizabeth Mackenzie, on 6 November 1850.1 She married, secondly, Captain E. F. N. K. Wasey on 5 August 1869.1
