     Commander Bertram Robert Stewart was born on 14 January 1886.² He was the son of Charles Frederick Stewart and Georgina Sophia Hamilton.^1,3 He married Muriel Florence Stoney, daughter of Thomas Butler Stoney and Annie Olphert, on 29 September 1916.¹
     He lived at Donegal, County Donegal, Ireland^G.⁴ He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Naval Reserve.¹ He was awarded the Royal Naval and Royal Marine Forces Reserve Decoration (R.D.)¹ He lived in 1976 at Cotcheen, Clooney, County Donegal, Ireland^G.¹

     Major Henry Butler Stoney was born in 1816.¹ He was the son of Richard Falkiner Stoney and Jane Butler.¹ He married Fanny Wilson, daughter of Benjamin Wilson.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 40th Regiment.¹
