Sir John Pelham, 3rd Bt. was born before 1627. He was the son of Sir Thomas Pelham, 2nd Bt. and Mary Wilbraham.2 He married Lady Lucy Sydney, daughter of Robert Sydney, 2nd Earl of Leicester and Lady Dorothy Percy, on 20 January 1647.1 He died circa January 1702/3.1 He was buried on 20 January 1702/3.1
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hastings from 1645 to 1646.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sussex between 1654 and 1658.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Pelham, of Laughton, co.
