Hon. Kathleen Marion Napier is the daughter of Edward Herbert Scott Napier, 4th Baron Napier of Magdala and Florence Martha Perceval.2 She married James Robert Bargrave Armstrong, son of Rt. Hon. Henry Bruce Armstrong and Margaret Leader, on 22 February 1930.1 She died on 14 September 1986.3

Edward Herbert Scott Napier, 4th Baron Napier of Magdala was born on 16 December 1861.2 He was the son of Field Marshal Robert Cornelis Napier, 1st Baron Napier of Magdala and Mary Cecilia Scott.3 He married Florence Martha Perceval, daughter of General John Maxwell Perceval, on 11 July 1900.2 He died on 20 July 1948 at age 86.3
He was educated at Cooper's Hill Engineering College.2 He was registered as a Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (M.I.C.E.)3 He was with the Indian State Railways.3 He fought in the First World War.2 He gained the rank of officer in the East Yorkshire Volunteers and Admiralty.2 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Napier of Magdala, in Abyssinia and of Caryngton, co. Palatine of Chester [U.K., 1868] on 2 May 1935.2
