Christopher Melville McLaren was born on 15 April 1934.1 He was the son of Henry Duncan McLaren, 2nd Baron Aberconway and Christabel Mary Melville Macnaghten.1 He married Jane Elizabeth Barrie, daughter of James Matthew Barrie, on 31 October 1973.1 He died on 11 July 2024 at age 90 at Hammersmith Hospital, London, England.2

Anne Laura Dorinthea McLaren was born on 26 April 1927.1 She was the daughter of Henry Duncan McLaren, 2nd Baron Aberconway and Christabel Mary Melville Macnaghten.1 She married Dr. Donald Michie, son of James Kilgour Michie and Marjorie Crain Pfeiffer, on 6 October 1952.1 She and Dr. Donald Michie were divorced in 1959.1 She died on 7 July 2007 at age 80, killed in a car accident.2

     Dr. Donald Michie was born on 11 November 1923 at Rangoon, Burma.2 He was the son of James Kilgour Michie and Marjorie Crain Pfeiffer.1 He married, firstly, Zena Davies in 1942.2 He and Zena Davies were divorced in 1947.2 He married, secondly, Dr. Hon. Anne Laura Dorinthea McLaren, daughter of Henry Duncan McLaren, 2nd Baron Aberconway and Christabel Mary Melville Macnaghten, on 6 October 1952.1 He and Dr. Hon. Anne Laura Dorinthea McLaren were divorced in 1959.1 He married, thirdly, Jean Hayes in 1971.2 He died on 7 July 2007 at age 83, killed in a car accident.2
     He was a code-breaker between 1942 and 1945 at Government Code and Cypher School, Bletchley Park, Buckinghamshire, England.2 He graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (D.Phil.)1 He was chairman of the department of machine intelligence and perception in 1967 at Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2
