Rev. Sir John Dutton Colt, 2nd Bt. was the son of John Dutton Colt and Mary Arnold.2 He married Mary Powell on 24 June 1747.1 He died circa April 1809.1 He was buried on 4 May 1809.1
He was the Rector at Cold Weston, Shropshire, EnglandG.1 He was the Rector at Willersley, Herefordshire, EnglandG.1 He was the Rector at Letton, Herefordshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Herefordshire.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Colt, of St. James's, Westminster, Middlesex [E., 1694] on 25 April 1731.1

Sir William Dutton Colt was baptised on 2 March 1645/46.1 He was the son of George Colt and Elizabeth Dutton.2 He married, firstly, Lucy Webb, daughter of Thomas Webb.1 He married, secondly, Dorothy Sanderson, daughter of Henry Sanderson.1 He married, thirdly, Mary Garneys, daughter of Charles Garneys and Elizabeth Soame, on 20 November 1684.1 He died in August 1693 at age 47 at Heilbronn, Baden-Württemburg, Germany.1
He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) by Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1680.1 He was appointed Knight in 1684.1 He was Master of the Horse to Prince Rupert.1 He was Envoy to Hanover, Celle, Brunswick and Dresden between 1689 and 1693.1
