Archibald Campbell of Succoth was born circa 1703.1 He was the son of William Campbell of Succoth and Margaret Walkinshaw.2 He married Helen Wallace, daughter of John Wallace of Elderslie, in 1731.1 He died in 1790.1
He was a practising Writer to the Signet (W.S.) in 1728.1 In 1769 he sold the Elderslie estate to Alexander Speirs.1 He was Principal Clerk of Session in 1770.1 He was Deputy Keeper of the Great Seal.1 He was Commissary Principal of Glasgow.1

Helen Wallace was the daughter of John Wallace of Elderslie.1 She married Archibald Campbell of Succoth, son of William Campbell of Succoth and Margaret Walkinshaw, in 1731.1 She died in 1767.1
