Piers Power, 2nd Baron le Power and Coroghmore was born in 1526.1 He was the son of Richard Power, 1st Baron le Power and Coroghmore and Lady Katherine Butler.1 He died on 16 October 1545 at Boulogne, FranceG, from wounds received in action.1
He was also known as Piers Poer.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron le Power and Coroghmore, co. Waterford [I., 1535] on 10 November 1538.1 He was Captain-General of the a force of Irish kernes raised for the French war.2 He fought in the Siege of Boulogne in September 1544.2 He was appointed Knight on 30 September 1544 after the capture of Boulogne.1
