     Elizabeth Barnard was born on 5 February 1642/43.2 She was the daughter of Sir Henry Barnard and Emma Charlton.1 She married James Brydges, 8th Baron Chandos of Sudeley, son of Sir John Brydges, 2nd Bt. and Mary Pearle, on 4 May 1665.1,2 She died on 26 May 1719 at age 76.3 She was buried on 5 June 1719 at Aconbury, Herefordshire, EnglandG.3 Her will (dated 8 December 1717/8 [sic]) was proven (by probate) on 9 July 1719.3
     From 4 May 1665, her married name became Brydges.1 After her marriage, Elizabeth Barnard was styled as Baroness Chandos of Sudeley on 22 August 1676.
     She had 22 children in total, only 8 of whom survived infancy.3

     Sir Dermot Humphrey de Trafford, 6th Bt. was born on 19 January 1925.1 He was the son of Sir Rudolph Edgar Francis de Trafford, 5th Bt. and June Isabel Chaplin.1 He married, firstly, Patricia Mary Beeley, daughter of Francis Mycroft Beeley, on 26 June 1948.1 He and Patricia Mary Beeley were divorced in 1973.3 He married, secondly, Xandra Carandini Lee, daughter of Lt.-Col. Geoffrey Trollope Lee and Estelle Marie Carandini, on 22 December 1973.3 He died on 22 January 2010 at age 85.4
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.3 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy Reserve.3 He was awarded the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Officers' Decoration (V.R.D.) in 1961.3 He was chairman of GHP Group between 1965 and 1977.3 He was director of Low & Bonar plc in 1977.3 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet de Trafford, of Trafford Park, Lancashire [U.K., 1841] in 1983.3 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society of Arts (F.R.S.A.)3 He lived in 2003 at 1 Roper's Orchard, Danvers Street, London, EnglandG.3

     Sir John Humphrey de Trafford, 7th Bt. was born on 12 September 1950.1 He is the son of Sir Dermot Humphrey de Trafford, 6th Bt. and Patricia Mary Beeley.1 He married Anne M. M. de Pebeyre, daughter of Jacques Faure de Pebeyre, in 1975.1
     He was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Bristol University, Bristol, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)1 He was regional president of Northern Europe American Express in 2000.1 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 2010.2 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet de Trafford, of Trafford Park, Lancashire [U.K., 1841] on 22 January 2010.3

     Sir Giles Brydges, 1st Bt. was born circa 1573.1 He was the son of Hon. Charles Brydges and Jane Carne.1 He married Mary Scudamore, daughter of Sir James Scudamore and Mary Throckmorton. He died on 12 September 1637.1 He was buried at Peterstowe, Herefordshire, EnglandG.1 An inquest post mortem was held for his on 31 October 1637.1 His will (dated 4 September 1634) was proven (by probate) on 22 November 1637.1
     He matriculated at St. Alban's Hall, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 27 November 1590.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Tewkesbury from 1621 to 1622.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Herefordshire between 1625 and 1629.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Herefordshire from 1625 to 1626.1 He was created 1st Baronet Brydges, of Wilton, co. Hereford [England] on 17 May 1627.1
