Sir Charles William Everard Cradock-Hartopp, 6th Bt.1

     Sir Charles William Everard Cradock-Hartopp, 6th Bt. was born on 4 September 1893.1 He was the son of Alick William Cradock-Hartopp and Janet Susan Webbe Spicer.2 He died on 14 March 1930 at age 36, unmarried.1
     He fought in the First World War, in France, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Major in 1918.1 He was First Secretary with the Diplomatic Service.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Cradock-Hartopp, of Freathby, co. Leicester [G.B., 1796] on 20 February 1929.1

     Susan Cynthia Frances Cradock-Hartopp was born on 16 March 1898.1 She was the daughter of Alick William Cradock-Hartopp and Janet Susan Webbe Spicer.2 She married Lindsay Drummond, son of Maj.-Gen. Laurence George Drummond and Katherine Mary Antrobus, on 23 July 1924.1 She died in 1981.3
     Her married name became Drummond.
