     Robert Vesey Stoney was born on 27 June 1841.2 He was the son of James Stoney and Mary Frances Elwood.2 He married, firstly, Emily Rose Bligh, daughter of Charles Bligh and Fanny Catherine Parker, on 1 May 1878 in a childess marriage.1 He married, secondly, Phoebe Editha Truell, daughter of Robert Vesey Truell and Frances Emily Knox, in February 1896.2 He died on 8 March 1924 at age 82.1
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Mayo.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Mayo in 1884.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Roscommon.2 He lived at Inisherkin, County Mayo, IrelandG.1 He lived at Rosturk Castle, Mulranny, County Mayo, IrelandG.1 He lived at Knockadoo, County Roscommon, IrelandG.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Mayo.1

     Marian Catherine Theffania Nugent is the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Oliver Stewart Wood Nugent and Catherine Percy Lees.1,2 She married Robert Vesey Stoney, son of Robert Vesey Stoney and Phoebe Editha Truell, on 4 November 1927.1
     From 4 November 1927, her married name became Stoney.1 She lived in 1976 at Ardagh Lodge, Carrowbeg, Westport, County Mayo, IrelandG.1

     Maj.-Gen. Sir Oliver Stewart Wood Nugent was born on 9 November 1860.2 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. St. George Mervyn Nugent and Emily Litton.2 He married Catherine Percy Lees, daughter of Thomas Evans Lees and Bernarda Maria Elisa Turnbull, on 7 February 1899.3 He died on 31 May 1926 at age 65.2
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.2 He was commissioned in 1883, in the service of the King's Royal Rifles.2 He gained the rank of Captain in 1890.2 He fought in the Samana Expedition in 1891, where he was mentioned in despatches.2 He fought in the Hazara Expedition in 1891.2 He fought in the Izazi Expedition in 1892.2 He fought in the Chitral Relief Force in 1895.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1896.1 He gained the rank of Major in 1899.2 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900, where he was mentioned in despatches, and was dangerously wounded.2 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1917.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1922.1 He lived at Farren Connell, Mount Nugent, County Cavan, IrelandG.1

     Elizabeth Chudleigh was born circa 1720 at Chelsea, London, England.3,4 She was the daughter of Colonel Thomas Chudleigh and Henrietta Clifford.1 She married, firstly, Vice-Admiral Augustus John Hervey, 3rd Earl of Bristol, son of John Hervey, 2nd Baron Hervey of Ickworth and Mary Lepell, on 4 August 1744 at Chapel of Mr. Merrill's house, Lainston, Hampshire, EnglandG, in a privately marriage.1 She and Vice-Admiral Augustus John Hervey, 3rd Earl of Bristol were divorced on 11 February 1769 a mensa et thoro.3 She married, secondly, Evelyn Pierrepont, 2nd Duke of Kingston-upon-Hull, son of William Pierrepont, Earl of Kingston and Rachel Baynton, on 8 March 1769 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, EnglandG, in a bigamously marriage.1 She died on 26 August 1788 at Paris, FranceG, from a bursting blood vessel.3 Her will was proven (by probate) in December 1789.3 She died intestate and her estate was administered in March 1789.3
     She held the office of Maid of Honour to the Princess of Wales in 1743.1 From 4 August 1744, her married name became Hervey.1 From 8 March 1769, her married name became Pierrepont.1 She was styled as Duchess of Kingston.1 Between 15 April 1776 and 22 April 1776 she was tried by the House of Lords for bigamy, and found guilty.1
