     Captain George Hope was born on 30 May 1801.2 He was the son of Charles Hope-Vere and Susan Anne Sawyer.3 He married, firstly, Charlotte Tollemache, daughter of Admiral John Richard Delap Tollemache and Lady Elizabeth Stratford, on 2 January 1833.2 He married, secondly, Katherine Frances Leveson-Gower, daughter of William Leveson-Gower and Katherine Maria Gresham, on 23 April 1845 at Linlithgow, West Lothian, ScotlandG.3 He died on 1 April 1893 at age 91.3
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1

     Emily Josephine Eliza Doyle was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Francis Hastings Doyle, 1st Bt. and Diana Elizabeth Milner.2 She married William Leveson-Gower, son of William Leveson-Gower and Katherine Maria Gresham, on 17 June 1834.1 She died on 16 April 1872.1
     Her married name became Leveson-Gower.

     Granville William Gresham Leveson-Gower was born on 25 February 1838.2 He was the son of William Leveson-Gower and Emily Josephine Eliza Doyle.2 He married Hon. Sophia Leigh, daughter of Chandos Leigh, 1st Baron Leigh of Stoneleigh and Margarette Willes, on 21 May 1861.2 He died on 30 May 1895 at age 57.2

     Arthur Francis Gresham Leveson-Gower was born on 25 April 1851.2 He was the son of William Leveson-Gower and Emily Josephine Eliza Doyle.2 He married Caroline Frederica Foljambe, daughter of George Savile Foljambe and Lady Selina Charlotte Jenkinson, on 4 August 1881.1 He died on 26 December 1922 at age 71.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1874 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He was with the Diplomatic Service between 1876 and 1905.2 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1877 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He was Special Constable of HQ Control Department, Section XI during the First World War.2 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)2 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Historical Society (F.R.H.S.)2 He was appointed Knight of Justice Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.J.St.J.)2
