     Lady Elizabeth Henrietta Howard was born on 24 October 1903.1 She was the daughter of Charles James Stanley Howard, 10th Earl of Carlisle and Rhoda Ankaret L'Estrange.2 She married Lawrence Robert Maconochie-Welwood, son of John Allan Maconochie-Welwood and Winifred Louisa Drummond, on 7 September 1934.1 She died on 12 January 1969 at age 65.1
     Her married name became Maconochie-Welwood.

     Lady Susan Ankaret Howard was born on 13 November 1948.2 She was the daughter of Lt.-Cdr. George Josslyn L'Estrange Howard, 11th Earl of Carlisle and Esmé Mary Iredell.1 She married, firstly, Charles James Buchanan-Jardine, son of Sir John William Buchanan-Jardine of Castlemilk, 3rd Bt. and Prudence Audrey Haggie, on 9 September 1967.1 She and Charles James Buchanan-Jardine were divorced in 1978.1 She married, secondly, Count Hubert Charles de Meyer in 1978.2 She died on 13 April 2018 at age 69.3
     Her married name became Buchanan-Jardine. From 1978, her married name became de Meyer.2 She lived in 2003 at 50 Hasker Street, London, EnglandG.2

He married, firstly, Lady Susan Ankaret Howard, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. George Josslyn L'Estrange Howard, 11th Earl of Carlisle and Esmé Mary Iredell, on 9 September 1967.1 He and Lady Susan Ankaret Howard were divorced in 1978.1 He married, secondly, Irmgard Margarethe Bormann, daughter of Major Rudolf Bormann, in 1978.1 He died on 22 March 2017 at age 70 at France.2

     Alexander Macdonald, 10th Earl of Ross was the son of Donald Macdonald, Lord of the Isles and Mary Leslie, Countess of Ross.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Seton, daughter of Sir Alexander Seton and Elizabeth Gordon.1 He married, secondly, unknown daughter Macphee, daughter of unknown Macphee of Lochaber.1 He died on 7 May 1449.
     He succeeded as the 10th Earl of Ross in 1423.1 He succeeded as the Lord of the Isles in 1423.1 In 1424 he was recognised by King James I of Scotland (on his release by the English) as the Earl of Ross and Lord of the Isles.1 In 1427 he was ordered by King James I to attend a Highland chiefs meeting at Inverness, and placed under house arrest.1 He gained the rank of Battle at Lochaber on 23 June 1429 in the where he was defeated by King James I, after he gathered an army of men from the Isles and Ross, and put Inverness and its environs to fire.1 In January 1435/36 he was recognised again as Earl of Ross, after being confined for a period in Tantallon Castle.1 He held the office of Justiciar North of the Forth in 1438.1
