Hugh Rose, 7th of Kilravock1

     Hugh Rose, 7th of Kilravock is the son of John Rose, 6th of Kilravock and Isabel Cheyne.2 He married Moira Mackintosh, daughter of Malcolm Mackintosh, 10th Chief of Mackintosh and 11th of Clan Chattan and Moira Macdonald.1 He died in 1494.2
     On 18 February 1460 he built the Tower of Kilravock under licence feom his feudal superior, John 10th of the Lord of the Isles and Earl of Ross.2 On 2 March 1475 he obtained a charter from King James III whereby Kilravock and Geddes were again held direct from the Crown after the forfeiture of the Lord of the Isles in 1474.2

     Nicola Alviggi was born in 1704.1 He was the son of Bonaventura Alviggi and Anna Grippo.1 He married Lucia Rispoli.1 He died on 23 January 1747.1

     Florence Macdonald is the daughter of Alexander Macdonald, 10th Earl of Ross.2 She married Duncan Mackintosh, 11th of Mackintosh, son of Malcolm Mackintosh, 10th Chief of Mackintosh and 11th of Clan Chattan and Moira Macdonald.1
     Her married name became Mackintosh.

Ferquhard Mackintosh, 12th of Mackintosh1

     Ferquhard Mackintosh, 12th of Mackintosh was the son of Duncan Mackintosh, 11th of Mackintosh and Florence Macdonald.2 He married Jill Fraser, daughter of Hugh Fraser, 1st Lord (Fraser of) Lovat and Violet Lyon.1 He died in 1514, without legitimate male issue.1
     In the latter year he was welcomed by his cousin William and 1,800 of the Clan Chattan, when he took up his position as Chief.1 He held the position of 13th Chief of the Clan Chattan from in 1496.1 In 1497 he was imprisoned in Edinburgh Castle, Stirling, then Dunbar.1 He also had two natural sons and four daughters.1
