     Grace Grant was the daughter of Colonel William Grant, 1st of Ballindaloch and Anne Grant.1 She married George Macpherson of Invereshie, son of John Macpherson of Invereshie and Isabella Cuthbert, in 1731.1 She died in 1749.1
     From 1731, her married name became Macpherson.1

     Colonel William Grant, 1st of Ballindaloch was the son of James Grant, 5th of Rothiemurchas and Grizel 'Mor' Macintosh.2 A contract for the marriage of Colonel William Grant, 1st of Ballindaloch and Anne Grant was signed on 30 October 1711.3 He died in May 1733.2
     He lived at Ballindalloch Castle, Banffshire, ScotlandG.1

Ludovic Grant, 8th of Freuchie and 1st of Grant 2
     Ludovic Grant, 8th of Freuchie and 1st of Grant was born in 1641.3 He was the son of James Grant, 7th of Freuchie and Lady Mary Stuart.3 He married, firstly, Janet Brodie, daughter of Alexander Brodie, 2nd of Lethen and Elizabeth Craig, on 16 December 1671.3,4 He married, secondly, Jean Houstoun, daughter of Sir Patrick Houstoun of that Ilk, 1st Bt. and Ana Hamilton, on 2 March 1701 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.3,5 A contract for the marriage of Ludovic Grant, 8th of Freuchie and 1st of Grant and Janet Brodie was signed on 20 December 1671.6 He died in 1714.3
     On 28 February 1694 he had charter of Grant.6

     Isabella Wilson was the daughter of Thomas Wilson.1 She married Captain John Macpherson, son of George Macpherson of Invereshie and Grace Grant, on 10 October 1778.1 She died on 3 March 1784.1
     From 10 October 1778, her married name became Macpherson.1

     From 1 March 1803, her married name became Carnegie.1
