     Lady Eleanor Cecily Lowther was born on 20 December 1822 at St. George Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of Colonel Hon. Henry Cecil Lowther and Lady Lucy Eleanor Sherard.1 She married John Talbot Clifton, son of Thomas Joseph Clifton and Hetty Treves, on 22 April 1844.3 She died on 24 November 1894 at age 71. She was buried at St. Cuthbert's Church, Lytham, Lancashire, EnglandG.2
     Her married name became Clifton. In 1872 she was granted the rank of an Earl's daughter.1

     Lady Augusta Mary Lowther was the daughter of Colonel Hon. Henry Cecil Lowther and Lady Lucy Eleanor Sherard.1 She married Rt. Hon. Gerard James Noel, son of Charles Noel, 1st Earl of Gainsborough and Arabella Hamlyn-Williams, on 30 June 1863.2 She died on 11 January 1916.
     Her married name became Noel. In 1872 she was granted the rank of an Earl's daughter.1

     Rev. Sir William Lowther, 1st Bt. was born on 10 July 1707.1 He was the son of Christopher Lowther and Elizabeth Maude.1 He married Anne Zouch, daughter of Reverend Charles Zouch, on 31 August 1753.1 He died on 15 June 1788 at age 80.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was teh Rector at Swillington, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Prebendary of York.1 He was created 1st Baronet Lowther [Great Britain] on 22 August 1764.1
