Lady Christina Bruce was born circa 1273.2 She was the daughter of Robert le Brus, 1st Lord Brus and Margaret, Countess of Carrick.1 She married, firstly, Gartnait, 7th Earl of Mar, son of Donald, 6th Earl of Mar and Helen ferch Daffyd, circa 1292.1 She married, secondly, Sir Christopher Seaton, son of John Seaton and Arminia Lascelles, in 1305/6.1 She married, thirdly, Sir Andrew Moray of Bothwell, son of Andrew Moray, after 12 October 1325.1 She died in 1356/57 at a great age.1

He succeeded as the 8th Earl of Mar [S., c. 1115] before September 1305.1 He was reared at King Edward I's court in England.3 He held the office of Keeper of Newark Castle in January 1321/22.3 In 1327 he raised a force in Scotland and invaded England seeking to restore King Edward II.3 He held the office of Regent of Scotland in 1332.3 He fought in the Battle of Dupplin Muir on 12 August 1332.3
