Young-gu returns home to check on Da-da. Yoo Jin was exploring the drama concept with her when he came, and backs Young-gu’s relationship with Da-da. Young-gu asks Da-da if she still needs her, but he nearly wets her workstation. An enraged In-hyuk confronts Bo-won at the lab for removing Zero Nine’s input code. Desperate to get Zero Nine to Diana’s, he gets her to go down personally. Wang-joon invites Da-da to the restaurant for dinner, but Young-gu, sensing something unpleasant, pleads for her not to go. Bo-won convinces Director Ko not to send Zero Nine to Diana, but In-hyuk reveals that he has already done so and fires him. Bo-won visits Da-da and tells her the only way she can get Young-gu back is to kiss him. Da-da drives to Diana’s mansion and tries to get Ken/Young-gu to recall his memories of her, but fails to kiss him and falls into the fountain. At Da-da’s house, Bo-won reveals to her the truth about Diana and why he stole Young-gu in the first place. • Yeo Woong and Bo-won are married, and the latter has become an electronics technician in a neighbourhood with Yoo Jin serving as his assistant. Bo-won finally catches up with In-hyuk, who he hasn't met since his sacking, and they make amends. Da-da returns home to do the household chores. However, she still misses Young-gu from time to time. Kyu-ri drops by Da-da's house for a chat over supper, and encourages her to voice her feelings out. As Bo-won closes shop for the night, Da-da visits him and requests to fix the toy her late father gave her as a present. Wang-joon invites Da-da and her team to the States to join him in his new project. She turns down the offer, as she wants to stay and hone her skills before expanding her career internationally. Da-da enters Young-gu's room ever since she locked it, and yearns the times she spent with Young-gu. The next day, Bo-won takes Da-da to the lab to see Young-gu for one last time. The company has preserved his body for research, and now that it has been completed, his body will be flown to the head office to be scrapped. Da-da bids Young-gu a final farewell. • Da-da asks Young-gu to release her, and gets a nasty fall. Da-da wakes up late the next morning and rushes out of the house without breakfast, so she instructs Young-gu to stay inside and not cause trouble for her at work. Da-da is assigned to work for an arrogant rookie star Hwa-ni in a commercial, which Wang-joon is starring, but refuses to continue doing the makeup mid-way when Hwa-ni badmouths Wang-joon. Hwa-ni confronts Da-da at the set. Young-gu shows up in a hanbok and shoves him away. On an impulse, she asks Young-gu to leave the set. Wang-joon requests for a role change so Hwa-ni becomes the lead in the commercial. Young-gu takes Da-da home when it rains, since she forgot to bring an umbrella with her. At home, Young-gu pleases Da-da when he shows the record player as well as other household appliances he had repaired while she was away. Wang-joon asks Yeo Woong to investigate the man in the hanbok who showed up that afternoon. Director Ko is horrified when he finds out that Zero Nine’s dating mode has been activated. He receives a call from Ms. Park Ran , who informs him Diana is hurrying him to deliver her robot. Park, who works for Diana, relays the Director’s message to her saying that the robot would be ready by the following week. Diana is irritated when one of her maids touched her doll, and proceeds to make her a living doll. Bo-won, who remains in hiding, dresses up as a woman to visit his former colleague Hwang In-hyuk , who gives him money and a burner phone. (en)
  • Da-da reminds Wang-joon that they are not dating anymore, so he should not care about her relationship with Young-gu. Young-gu follows an upset Da-da inside; she tells him to stop calling her “Girlfriend”. On the last day of filming for Wang-joon's drama, he views the CCTV footage of the commercial shoot provided by Yeo Woong, and realizes that Young-gu was the man in the hanbok. He makes Da-da redo the makeup for the final showdown scene and delays filming. Da-da realizes she has left the dummy heart she has made the night before at the studio, so she gets Young-gu to deliver it. Despite a minor accident, he shows up eventually, saving the shoot and her reputation. Filming finally wraps up, although Wang-joon asks Da-da to stay to remove his makeup, which she declined. He returns to the dressing room and opens up a black flower box from the fan gifts, threatening him to break up with Da-da. Because of the physical impact with a forklift while on the way to the set, Young-gu’s shoulder overheats and he shuts down. Without help from Bo-won, a flustered Da-da tries to restore Young-gu, which she eventually succeeds. Young-gu takes Da-da out to the top of the hill behind her house for some stargazing. Grateful to have him around for the past week, she acknowledges him as a high-end boyfriend, before they go back for the night. (en)

Wang-joon tells Da-da the truth about the flower boxes, and begs her to come back to him. Young-gu clears the broken glass in the spare room and leaves for Wang-joon’s house. Along the way, he meets Bo-won, who gives him a cap to hide himself. Young-gu asks him what happens if Da-da fell in love with someone else, but Bo-won hurries him to Wang-joon’s house. Young-gu earlier gets a lead on who the culprit behind the flower boxes might be, and informs Wang-joon. Kyu-ri slips onto Bo-won’s towel at a jjimjilbang where he is staying and slaps him when he tries to do CPR on her. After a meeting with the PD, Kyu-ri finds that Da-da is lethargic, and she gives the latter advice on how to rekindle a failed relationship. At the celebrity agency, Wang-joon and Young-gu find Hwa-ni wearing a ring similar to the one the temp had sketched, and he points to its original owner, Mr. Geum. Geum shows his true colors and reveals himself to be the perpetrator who unscrupulously desires to keep Wang-joon away from Da-da, and Wang-joon quits the agency. Yeo Woong, who came to claim her medical bills, meets up with Wang-joon and learns about Geum’s misdeeds. Young-gu drives Wang-joon home, but Wang-joon tells him that Da-da does not need Young-gu anymore. (en)
  • Young-gu eventually confesses to Wang-joon he isn't human. The latter warns Da-da to be wary of Young-gu, and decides to go down to her house to find out for himself. While analysing Young-gu at home, Bo-won reminds him to keep his identity a secret to others so he won't be returned to the head office. However, he carelessly leaves his tablet there. Wang-joon finds the tablet containing Zero Nine's manual, and learns that Young-gu is indeed a robot. He questions Da-da, who reveals the truth. Wang-joon is unable to accept giving Da-da up for a robot boyfriend. Director Ko informs Bo-won about Diana and Zero Ten. As soon as Bo-won leaves to pick up his tablet from Da-da's house, In-hyuk hands the Director a disciplinary notice from the head office regarding the handling of Zero Nine, and blames Bo-won for it. Bo-won learns that Wang-joon has learnt about Young-gu's identity. Hwa-ni invites himself to the set and taunts Wang-joon about his relationship with Da-da. Wang-joon loses his temper and punches him, only to be stopped by Yeo Woong, Da-da and Bo-won. Yeo Woong assures Bo-won that he can trust her, for she won't reveal his secret. Hwa-ni is badly injured, and together with Geum, they hold a press conference to frame Wang-joon for their injuries. Wang-joon tells Da-da he will keep her away from Young-gu. They learn about the scandal, and Wang-joon moves into Da-da's place for the time being to avoid the reporters. Meanwhile, In-hyuk offers to check on Zero Ten for Diana. (en)
  • Wang-joon, along with Yeo Woong and Mr. Geum, attend a meeting with the PD and his assistant at the TV station to discuss the second season of his drama. He insists the PD sign Da-da and her team on to continue providing the makeup for the drama. Young-gu helps Da-da to save on her household expenditure by using him as a power source. He notices a promotion at the supermarket, so he takes Da-da there. While there, he stops Da-da from splurging on unnecessary products, and also learns more about human traits. Da-da passes by a coffee product display which Wang-joon is an ambassador, and Young-gu notices that she is upset at the sight of Wang-joon. Da-da is called to meet the PD at the station for the drama project, and meets Wang-joon there. He invites her for dinner at their favourite restaurant, because he has something important to say to her. Young-gu picks Da-da up and presents her with a pair of tickets to a Han River cruise he got in a giveaway, which happens to be at the same time as Wang-joon’s dinner date. At the ferry terminal, Da-da tells Young-gu she needs to rush for something else, and hurries off. However, Wang-joon had already left for the hospital when he learns that Yeo Woong was involved in a car accident taking a frail Bo-won there. Da-da, who waited for Wang-joon to come at the restaurant, lies that she did not show up and asks him not to seek her out on the drama site. (en)
  • After delivering the toys to the store, Young-gu takes Da-da home and presents her an advert for a drama club assistant position at a middle school. He observed the paint on the soles of Bo-won and Da-da's shoes and deduces that anyone who entered the room had contact with the red paint on their outsoles. He goes back to the set to investigate the accident and runs into Wang-joon; with none of their shoe sizes matching those of the culprit, they decide to work together to find the real culprit and get Da-da's job back. Da-da, who is a senior of the drama club, signs up for the assistant position, and makes natural makeup products for the play the next day. Young-gu has been resisting his desire to sleep with her and decides to wait a while more before he does. Da-da arrives at school, but the play has been delayed, so she entrusts the makeup products to the club member. Wang-joon gathers the crew members to apologize for delaying the shoot, and gives them free shoes. With Young-gu's help, he identifies the culprit and takes him to his dressing room. The crew member confesses he was told by Geum to spike Da-da's makeup product. Da-da returns to the set and declares to Geum she is returning to the team. Wang-joon has Geum apologize to her, clearing Da-da's name. Wang-joon and Yeo Woong officially release the celebrity's departure from the agency and kick Geum out of the set. In a bid to avenge himself, Geum elevates Hwa-ni to top star status. Wang-joon begins to question Young-gu’s true nature when he accidentally spills tea on Young-gu, but doesn't scald him. (en)
  • Young-gu passes out after getting out of bed, scaring Da-da. She gets Bo-won and Director Ko to restore him, and learns from the both of them that Young-gu/Zero Nine has been overloaded with learning human emotions and that accelerated his meltdown. Despite Bo-won and Da-da’s objections, Young-gu insists on going for the picnic, only to show more errors. Da-da decides to postpone the picnic so that Young-gu gets more rest. The Director tells her they can exchange the parts affected by the meltdown, but if Zero Nine continues to learn human emotions, the meltdown will continue. Bo-won blames himself for not knowing about Young-gu’s breakdown but egging him on to become more human and to love more. Diana learns from In-hyuk about Zero Nine’s meltdown. The Director urges In-hyuk to make amends with Bo-won, who had petitioned the head office to take him back to the company. Despite Ran’s pleads for Diana to give up her revenge plan, she insists on doing so and boots her out of her room. Wang-joon senses something amiss when he learns that Young-gu and Bo-won had resigned, and finds Da-da distracted during filming. Da-da breaks down when her phone stops working, overwhelmed at the prospect of losing Young-gu. She is upset because there is nothing she can do for him. Yeo Woong also learns that Young-gu has fallen ill, and consoles Bo-won. Kyu-ri and Yoo Jin offer to help cover Da-da’s duties in the drama production for the time being so she could take care of Young-gu. (en)
  • On Da-da’s last day with Young-gu, she receives a call from Bo-won reminding her he is going to pick Zero Nine today. But Bo-won has other plans; he plans to abscond with the robot to Guangzhou via boat to meet up with a professor there. Young-gu/Zero Nine leaves with Bo-won after he fixes a wall panel at home, but he finds a location tracking device installed in Bo-won’s car and they escape. Director Ko and In-hyuk, who is revealed to have returned to the company, pursue Zero Nine, but catch Bo-won instead. Bo-won confesses that he refuses to send Zero Nine to Diana and lose him like before. He runs off and gets into a near accident. Back in the lab, the Director finds out Bo-won’s intentions, and with In-hyuk heads to Incheon Port to catch Zero Nine. Yoo Jin sends Da-da to the TV station to return the drama props. While cleaning them, she sees Wang-joon doing an interview, where he claims he doesn’t have a girlfriend. While reminiscing Young-gu at home, Da-da receives a message from Bo-won to pick Young-gu up at the port. In the heavy rain, Young-gu tells Da-da that his system is going to reset soon and he will lose all his memories of her, but she prevents him from shutting down. (en)
  • Bo-won presents Zero Nine’s ownership contract to Da-da. The Director reports to Diana that she has breached the contract for security reasons. She plans revenge on Ken/Young-gu. Bo-won passes himself off as the new employee of Da-da’s makeup team, much to Kyu-ri’s dismay. The team heads to the set, where Young-gu is eager to tell Da-da about his new job. Wang-joon attempts to tell Da-da that Young-gu is two-timing, but she replies that he had his own reasons for doing so. Bo-won and Yoo Jin share a close bond with their similar interests. The former accidentally spills the fake blood in the room so Kyu-ri orders him to clean up. Bo-won bumps into Yeo Woong at the set and he tells her to forget their recent encounter. While rehearsing for a scene with a real prop, Wang-joon rips Young-gu’s pants, but doesn't injure him. Geum, an unwelcome visitor, pops by the set. Geum has not given up in trying to separate Wang-joon and Da-da, even though the actor had quit his agency. He sends someone to spike Da-da’s makeup products. Wang-joon overhears Bo-won and Young-gu’s conversation, and begins to grow suspicious about Young-gu. Da-da learns from Yeo Woong about Geum and his threat. Wang-joon develops an allergic reaction from the makeup that Da-da did and is sent to hospital. As the PD assembles the crew for a meeting, Geum steps forward and slaps Da-da. (en)
  • Everyone at the set is surprised to hear Wang-joon’s announcement about his seven-year relationship with Da-da. He decided that he will not end up losing Da-da to Young-gu, who experiences an excruciating pain when Wang-joon leaves the set. Geum is convinced to give up his act after news of Wang-joon’s press conference breaks to very positive response. That night, Da-da prepares offerings for her late father’s memorial service. Young-gu, Bo-won, Wang-joon and Yeo Woong join her in paying respects. Yeo Woong is frustrated by the reporters bugging her about Wang-joon’s relationship. Bo-won gives her an excuse for appearing at Da-da's house, claiming he wanted to protect her. Wang-joon asks Young-gu to do nothing else to Da-da other than protect her. Da-da teaches Young-gu the dance she danced with her father while he was alive. At the set, Yeo Woong invites Bo-won for bento lunch. Wang-joon hopes Da-da will reconsider dating Young-gu, because Young-gu will never grow old. Diana, who is still seeking revenge on those who deserted her when she was trapped in the fire, is bent on destroying Ken/Young-gu. Young-gu suddenly blacks out after having his makeup done. Da-da gets Bo-won to fix him, and reveals to Kyu-ri, Yoo Jin and Yeo Woong that Young-gu is a robot. (en)
  • Young-gu makes winter and spring come early for Da-da, since she mentioned she wanted to experience them with him the previous night. He sends Da-da out for work, but continues to keep his true emotions to himself. After hesitating for a while, Yoo Jin decides to tell the truth to Da-da, but his words end up falling on deaf ears to Kyu-ri, who thinks he is confessing his love to her. While Da-da does Wang-joon's makeup, he reveals to her Young-gu never went to the head office. Diana, who is departing for New York to receive psychotherapy, visits Young-gu at home to apologize for breaking the cooler. However, he contradicts himself when he tells Diana about his condition. Devastated upon learning that Young-gu hasn't been fixed and his days are numbered, Da-da loses control of her emotions and begs him not to leave her alone. (en)
  • Young-gu overhears Mr. Geum on the phone trying to find someone to be Wang-joon’s manager for a month, so he offers himself for the job, though Wang-joon was initially reluctant to hire him. Da-da refuses to let Young-gu be Wang-joon’s temporary manager, claiming that he will be easily discovered, but he assures her that he won’t get caught. While Da-da visits Yeo Woong at the hospital, Bo-won visits Young-gu at home to find out how he is doing, and also for a shower and some food. Young-gu tells him he's got a job as Wang-joon’s manager to help Da-da as well as to find out more about the celebrity. Diana sees her maids watching a video on Wang-joon’s free hugs event, but fails to notice Zero Nine. Young-gu heads off to his first day of work as Wang-joon’s manager. Mr. Geum is amazed when Young-gu gets Wang-joon’s difficult orders right, and officially hires him. Director Ko and In-hyuk get a lead in finding Zero Nine that takes them to Da-da’s special effects studio, and pass themselves off as detectives investigating a serial killer case. While analyzing Wang-joon’s residence, Young-gu comes across the model cake, which Wang-joon had kept. Wang-joon tells him that his relationship with Da-da was longer, and that she doesn’t have feelings for Young-gu, she just needs someone by her side. (en)
  • An embarrassed Wang-joon asks Yeo Woong not to plan any more free hugs events. Yeo Woong has no idea Da-da and Young-gu would be there, and wonders if the both are dating. Young-gu’s performance earlier during the day impresses the lady boss and she gives him a bonus. Da-da waits for Young-gu at a bench and is joined by Wang-joon, who asks if she is feeling better. Young-gu takes her home, but Da-da could not find her wallet and they go back to the amusement park to find it. They had fun at the amusement park, and Young-gu delights Da-da when he presents a drone light show to her. Meanwhile, Yeo Woong finds out about the flower boxes and confronts Wang-joon, who was upset after seeing Da-da and Young-gu together. However, he does not want to tell Da-da about them, which were first given to him at the award ceremony, and that he does not intend to let her go. Back home, Young-gu turns off the lights to save electricity and gives Da-da his pay. When asked if him being a grown man is supposed to mean, he goes near her but she turns away. (en)
  • Wang-joon learns from Yeo Woong about Young-gu’s condition. He drives to Da-da's house, and reminds her she would have a hard time taking care of Young-gu and worse things will crop up to him. Da-da, already feeling miserable, asks him to stop raking the issue and leave. Bo-won reports to the Director he has found a way to cure Young-gu - a component called the heart-cooler, which was used in one of the European models who also suffered a meltdown. However, due to its hefty price tag, only two such coolers were made, and the remaining one is made solely for research purposes at the head office. The Director sends an official request for approval to the head office, but it was rejected immediately due to the financial damage incurred over Zero Nine's handling, and the cessation of the cooler production. Wang-joon helps to get the cooler delivered by threatening to expose the head office over his impersonation incident. Unfortunately, In-hyuk overhears about the cooler and reports to Diana, who orders him to snatch it from them. Tired of being Diana's lackey, In-hyuk initially quits, but soon returns since she had done a background check on him. Bo-won takes Da-da to the lab to see to the cooler's delivery. The Director drives to Incheon Airport to collect the cooler from a representative from the head office, but In-hyuk intercepts and takes it. Upon receiving the news that In-hyuk stole the cooler, Da-da runs to Diana's mansion and begs her to give the cooler to her. However, Diana still breaks it in front of Da-da, Bo-won and the Director. (en)
  • Bo-won and Director Ko regret at Young-gu's decision to let his meltdown run its course and they disable his safeguard mode. Five days pass and Wang-joon's drama begins its run. Young-gu returns to Da-da's side and claims that he's fixed. They have dinner together. When Yeo Woong reunites with Bo-won, she learns that he and Young-gu never went to Switzerland, and that the latter will become scrap. She consoles him. Young-gu is unable to confess his thoughts to Da-da, who invites him to see a meteor shower the next day at Ganghwa Island. Da-da had to miss the meteor shower due to an urgent change in schedule, so she gets Yoo Jin to relay the message to Young-gu. Young-gu drops by Wang-joon's house to bid farewell to him. Wang-joon invites Da-da over coffee, and tells her he is worried about her and Young-gu. Young-gu doesn't receive Yoo Jin's message and waits for her to return home. He is disheartened that Da-da fails to keep her promise, but she cheers him up by promising to go see it next year. (en)
  • Bo-won tells Da-da that Young-gu’s internal mechanisms are breaking down rapidly, and he could stop functioning at any time, but Bo-won is certain Young-gu is forcing himself to move with all his might for Da-da. Young-gu apologizes to Bo-won for not going to the head office, but thanks him for creating him. Da-da takes leave the next day to spend time with Young-gu in his remaining days. She takes Wang-joon outside to ask why he did that to Young-gu, but he asks if she truly has feelings for the latter. Young-gu regains consciousness so Wang-joon lets him and Da-da go for the day.
