- Holotype: FMNH 215970 (field tag DLD 1032-1), adult ♂, collected by D.L. Damman between 3–6 October 1979.
- Type locality: “Thailand, Kanchanaburi Province, Tham Tarn Lot (= Chalerm Rattanakosin) National Park, from a rocky stream”.
