- Holotype: MCP 13880 (field code SCF 2032).
- Type locality: “Igarapé Fartura at ESEC Juami-Japurá, 1.964550ºS, 67.935790ºW, 87 m elevation, on the southern bank of Japurá River, in Japurá, state of Amazonas, northern Brazil”.
- Paratopotypes: 18 specimens: 9 adult males: CFBH 44854–44855 (former MCP 13877, 13883, respectively; field SCF 2031, 2048), MCP 13874, 13881, 13884, 13887, 13888, 13891, 13897 (field SCF 2061, 2022, 1956, 2020, 2023, 1918, 1884, respectively). 3 adult females: CFBH 44856 (former MCP 13894; field SCF 1919), MCP 13882, 13889 (field SCF 1921–1920, respectively). 3 sub-adults: MCP 13885, 13890, 13900 (field SCF 2021, 1957, 2060, respectively). 2 small juveniles: MCP 13893, 13908 (field SCF 1958, 2036, respectively).
- Paratypes: CZPB-AA 1524, 1532 (2 adult females), CZPB-AA 1535 (adult male), MZUSP 159206 (field MTR 36370; adult female).
