Welcome to Will's talk page.
Please leave me messages on the English Wikipedia or Wikibooks or on Wikimedia Commons.
I may not visit this site for a long time, and it could be a really long time before I see any messages left for me here. Thank you.

Hello!

[change]

Welcome to Wiktionary. I placed this message here just to avoid making someone else have to welcome me. I'm an experienced wiki editor with over 4,000 edits across several Wikimedia Foundation sites. Instead of giving me a generic welcome message for typical new users, why not give me some pointers on what makes Wiktionary unique and different from the English Wikipedia, WikiBooks, and Commons—the three sites with which I am most familiar. Thanks! Have a great day. --Willscrlt (Talk)

Welcome

Hello, Willscrlt, and welcome to the Simple English Wiktionary!

We hope you are happy editing here. Some helpful pages to begin with are Wiktionary:Community Portal, Wiktionary:Useful, Help:Contents, Wiktionary:Rules, and Wiktionary:How to edit.

If you want to talk with other members or ask a question, you can visit Wiktionary:Simple talk. Administrators can also help you with more difficult problems. You can also ask me for help. The best way to do that is to leave a message on my talk page. Just remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing "~~~~" (four tildes) at the end of your words.

Good luck and happy editing!--Brett 10:01, 26 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
