Quick deletion of Rocket League

[change source]

The page you wrote, Rocket League, has been selected for quick deletion. If you think this page should be kept, please add {{wait}} below the line {{QD}} and say why on the talk page. If the page is already gone, but you think this was an error, you can ask for it to be undeleted. You can find more information about the reason here. @Fdena: You made a comment on my talk page that you want to be apart of this wiki but there are too many vandals. Actually that's not that bad a problem. We have quite a few editors here who work on vandalism. They're good. Very often they catch vandalism on pages you've worked on even before you do. The second point is the above request and deletion of Rocket League. A stub here should at least tell readers what the subject is about. If it doesn't or isn't encyclopedic enough it may be deleted. More is always better, even a little more. You can always resubmit it with more information. While full articles are always better, we accept stubs in the hope that at some point other editors may come along and improve it. We always need good editors and don't want to see anyone discouraged by an unsuccessful attempt here and there. If you were a writer, getting refusal letters is just part of being an author. The same is true here. I'd encourage you to read some of the links in the welcome message above. Then, delve into it. You can't break the wiki by making mistakes and other editors and patrollers will often help make it better. One link above is Wikipedia:How to copy from another Wikipedia. Read and follow the steps and you can copy at least much of the lead section of an En.wiki article here. It should use simple sentences, simpler words and be readable. Like most of us did, you learn as you go. Ask for help if you need it here, on another editor's talk page, or at Wikipedia:Simple talk. Welcome

[change source]

Hello, Fdena, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your changes. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. Sadly, one or more of the pages you started may not fit some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages and may soon be deleted.

There is a page about making articles you may want to read. It is called "How to write Simple English articles". If you need help, please post a message at "Simple talk", where other experienced Wikipedians can answer any questions you have. Or, you can type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will soon answer your questions. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy changing pages here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will turn into your username and the date. If you have any questions, ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! — This unsigned comment was added by ChecKemzV (talk • changes) at 15:36, 22 October 2015‎.

RfD nomination of 1975 Australian constitutional crisis

[change source]

An editor has requested deletion of 1975 Australian constitutional crisis, an article you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2015/1975 Australian constitutional crisis and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also change the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much. I'm sure the nominator felt the article was too short to adequately describe the subject. I improved the article based on the Enwiki article (see talk page for attribution), simplified the text, wikified (added links to other Simplewiki articles and to terms in Wiktionary) and added source citations. This is all outlined in Wikipedia:How to copy from another Wikipedia. The result is a better start for a new article. I did this to show you what a good stub might look like. One or two sentence stubs are very likely to be quick deleted. It is fortunate the nominating editor chose to submit it for RfD, a longer process which does allow other editors to either comment or improve the article if they can. Don't feel you need to stop with just a stub article, you can create an entire article. I hope this helps. User:Rus793 (talk) 15:05, 11 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
