Stephen Nicol (born 11 December 1961) is a Scottish former footballer. He played as a full-back. He played for Ayr United, Liverpool, Notts County, Sheffield Wednesday, Doncaster Rovers and the Scotland national team. He was best known for his time at Liverpool. He won many honours with the Reds, including five league titles and a European Cup (1984). He now works for ESPN.

Nicol was born in Troon, South Ayrshire. He is married to Eleanor and has two children.[2]
