Ron Yeats

Ronald Yeats (15 November 1937 – 6 September 2024) was a Scottish footballer and manager. He was born in Aberdeen, Scotland. He also made appearances for the Scotland national team from 1964 to 1966. He played for Liverpool F.C. from 1961 to 1971.
Yeats's career began with Dundee United F.C., playing for them from 1957 to 1961. He also played for Tranmere Rovers F.C. from 1971 to 1974.
Yeats also managed several teams from 1971 to 1977, including Tranmere Rovers, Barrow A.F.C. and Santa Barbara Condors.
In January 2024, it was announced that Yeats had Alzheimer's disease.[1] He died from problems caused by the disease in Aberdeen on 6 September 2024, at the age of 86.[2]
