Richard Wagner PC (French pronunciation: [vɑɡnɛːʁ] vahg-NAIR; born April 2, 1957) is a Canadian politician and lawyer. He is the 18th and current Chief Justice of Canada since 2017.
On January 21, 2021, Wagner became Administrator of Canada after the resignation of Julie Payette as Governor General of Canada.[1] He left office when Mary Simon became governor general.
