Dennis Amiss (born 7 April 1943) is a former English cricket player. He scored the first century in history on both his debut and in his last match. He became the chairman of the Warwickshire Cricket Committee in 1987.[1]

Amiss received the Wisden Cricketers of the Year award in 1975,[2] an MBE in 1988, and a Doctor of the University award from the University of Birmingham in 2007.[3]
