Dan Benishek

Daniel Joseph Benishek (April 20, 1952 – October 15, 2021)[1] was an American physician and politician. He was the U.S. representative for Michigan's 1st congressional district from 2011 to 2017.[2] He was a member of the Republican Party. Benishek was born in Iron River, Michigan.

Benishek died on October 15, 2021 in Crystal Falls, Michigan from a heart attack, aged 69.[3]
