Jane Chika Oranika (born March 9, 1997),[3] known simply as Chika (often written in capital letters), is an American rapper and singer. She first became known on social media before signing to Warner Records in 2019. She was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 2020.[4]
In April 2021, Chika announced a short break from making music because of her mental health.[5][6]
