Brooks Calbert Robinson Jr. (May 18, 1937 – September 26, 2023) was an American third baseman in Major League Baseball who played his entire career for the Baltimore Orioles from 1955 to 1977. He was nicknamed "the Human Vacuum Cleaner" or "Mr. Hoover". He has been called the greatest defensive third baseman in major league history.[1]

Robinson died on September 26, 2023 in Owings Mills, Maryland from heart disease at the age of 86.[2][3]
