Alaba and K'abeena are two very similar Cushitic languages. Some people think they are dialects of one another. These people call the language Alaba-K'abeena. They are spoken in Ethiopia. The languages are similar to the Kambaata language. Alaba and K'abeena are spoken by about 300,000 people.^[1]
