Oophorectomy

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Oophorectomy is the removal of an ovary or ovaries.[1] It is similar to castration. People get an oophorectomy for many reasons. This may be to treat cancer or the menstrual cycle.[2] It has also been proposed as a way of treating female sexual predators, female hebephiles and female pedophiles by stopping their libido.[3]
