I have decided to leave this wiki.
- Too many admins who are lazy and do not want to do their jobs THAT WE APPROVED them to do.
- Too many editors who cannot follow basic instructions WRITTEN IN BIG BOLD LETTERS right in front of them and they implode their ego with invalid “article creation” claims when the logs show a completely different story.
- Just overall the majority of competence of the users on here. Yes some are really good, some are so-so but others, ESPECIALLY after being given multiple warnings about their actions, should not be on here. Yet admins allow them to stay and continue doing what they are doing. This causes more work for other editors as we can’t do what we really want to do because we have to clean up after these idiots.
- Sad when you send extremely valid comments to admins and not one freaking admin wants to get involved when you give them proof they need to block someone.
- It takes an act of some higher power to get anything done.
- I watched VIP reports hit 4 days old while admins came online posted to conversations, did maintenance and everything else EXCEPT look at the boards they should be looking at and handling the issues we present to them. Again, this is what WE THE COMMUNITY voted for them to do. If they do not want to do their jobs, then they should resign immediately. I know of two right off the bat that should go. Amazing then they come on and mark all as stale. No crap? Really? Wonder why? Hhhhhmmmmm let me think of why that happened? Oh yeah, admins again not wanting to do their jobs.
- WP:AN Items not even acted on by any of the admins who came on over a 2 week period. They did not even comment on anything on there including protection requests. So I ask this, what is the sense of having them if they will not do the work required of them that once again, we voted for them to have the tools to have the ability to do these tasks? I have seen so many requests get auto archived without any action or comment. However, when you bug an admin about it the answer is “We will get around to when we can.” Did not know never was an option of getting around to it, as that’s just more laziness.
And for these reasons, I am out.
