Mrinal Sen (14. maj 1923 - ) je indijski filmski režiser i scenarist, najpoznatiji kao jedan od najuspješnijih i najuglednijih predstavnika pokreta tzv. paralelne kinematografije (engl. Parallel cinema) u Indiji. Sen, koji je uglavnom djelovao u Kalkuti u okviru bengalske kinematografije, bio je po svojim političkim stavovima blizak Komunističkoj partiji Indije, a na njegov opus je značajno uticao marksizam. Tokom svoje karijere je osvojio cijeli niz prestižnih domaćih i međunarodnih nagrada.
