Cruggleton Church

Cruggleton Church is in the historic county o Wigtounshire an is aboot 750 metres (2,460 ft) wast o the ruins o Cruggleton Castle. It wus establisht in the earlie 12th century by Fergus, Lord o Galloway, and remains the maist complete Romanesque church in the area. The church wis restored fae a ruint condition in the 1890s by William de B M Galloway (1830-1897) fur the 3rd Marquess o Bute. The church is a Category A Listed building. [1] [2]
