Crathie, Aiberdeenshire

Crathie (Scots Gaelic: Craichidh) is a clachan in Aiberdeenshire, Scotland. It staans on the nor bank o the River Dee.[1]

It lees hauf a mile awa fae Balmoral Castle an a mile awa fae Abergeldie Castle.[2] Mony wirkers on Balmoral Estate bade in Crathie, an the Crathie Brig lees athort the River Dee tae the estate.

Crathie shares its commonity cooncil wi Ballater, haein twalv memmers. It is pairt o the West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine constituency fur the Hoose o Commons an the Aberdeenshire West constituency fur the Scots Pairlament.
