Charles Gounod

Charles-François Gounod (French: [ʃaʁl fʁɑ̃swa ɡuno]; 17 Juin 1818 – 17 October or 18 October 1893)[1][2][3][4] wis a French componer, best kent for his Ave Maria, based on a wirk bi Bach, as well as his opera Faust.
