Bargrennan (Scots Gaelic: Bar Grianain, meanin 'heicht o the simmer hoose' or 'sunny spo't)[1] is a veelage in the historical coonty o Wigtounshire in Dumfries an Gallowa, Scotland. It is locatit 9 mile nor'wast o Newtoun Stewart by the River Cree an on the A714 road tae Girvan. The Soothren Upland Wey rins throu the veelage an the Glentrool Forest, managed bi Scots Forestry, is til the nor'east o the veelage.

White Cairn in Bargrennan gies its name til the cless o prehistoric moniments kent as Bargrennan Chaumert Cairns.[2]
