Montpelier /mɒntˈpiːliər/[1] is the caipital ceety o the US state o Vermont an the coonty seat o Washington Coonty. As the steid o Vermont's state govrenment, it is the least populous state caipital in the Unitit States.[2] The population wis 7,855 at the 2010 census.
