07/24 – *Updated* Chinchilla Resource Page

RGD is pleased to announce the release of the *UPDATED* comparative species page for the Long-tailed Chinchilla, Chinchilla lanigera. This page gives easy access to Chinchilla lanigera-based literature searches through RGD’s Ontomate. Chinchilla is a well-studied model for Otitis Media, so RGD created an Otitis Media Disease Genes portal to view, download and analyze all Chinchilla genes related to Otitis Media, as well as providing access to all Chinchilla-based data on RGD for download using the FTP Site. Other tools included are the JBrowse Genome Browser, OLGA, MOET, GA Tool, and GOLF all using the most current Chinchilla genome and annotations. Lastly, we have compiled Chinchilla quantitative phenotypes which can be viewed in the Chinchilla PhenoMiner. External resources can also be found on the page to link to additional information.
