The new double-check-to-pay process had to be done without any UX experts. Here, we swipe the phone, it bugs, we re-authenticate and pay after waiting 30 seconds for the terminal to allow payment again. The proposal to open Google Wallet before paying would be relevant if there were a shortcut like on Iphone, but it's not at all practical. Google Wallet is clearly outmatched by Iphone's UX.

I appreciate that security is important when it comes to my cards. The recent update, however, has made the use of cards very annoying, so much that I'll probably start using my physical cards. 3 out of four times I need to reconfirm with fingerprint, it's slow, inconsistent and often times I end up spending extra 30 seconds to make a small payment. It's far from clear when I need to reconfirm and when not.

Quite convenient way to pay and supports most of the cards I use. However, I wish there would be a way to organize cards more conveniently, when you have many payment cards it's difficult to swipe through all of them just to get to the list. And at the same time loyalty cards are right there, but used less frequently. Adding groups for different types of cards would be useful as well: personal, business, travel etc.
