@Eileenmcnaughton @dkozlowski as we are heading into peak season, any thoughts on this? As things stand, we don't want the up front dedupe for peak season given the resources available for data entry.

We do not have a contract to process SEPA for Trustly. This is something we will seek to add in the future possibly. For now the focus is ACH through Trustly.

@Cstone Hi Christine, thank you for this!! With what you have assembled here it seems there is value with Adyen's approach. They may be rescuing the same trxs WMF logic rescued, but there seem to be more rescues month over month https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Pr-ExY0Z1nxv6seORdiD3EMwklJZ20uc/edit?gid=1894480238#gid=1894480238. We rescued sub 1% each month on average and they are trending to rescue between 20-30% depending on the payment type. This seems to say to me that we continue with the service. LMK what more the search kit will unveil. I think the month over month tells the story...

Hi All concerned. Adyen just opened a ticked seemingly about our issue:
@AMJohnson Adyen is saying they cannot troubleshoot and think the matter is something on our end since it isn't contained to only iDeal but involving Paypal and Apple Pay as well.

Interesting these screen shots are from SNS bank. I will check to see if this bank had an issue over recent days. Any input re Triodos bank who reportedly DID have an issue, as above @AMJohnson ?
Noting a reported issue with iDeal by Adyen that is now resolved (yesterday) involving a specific bank in case this sounds familiar to DR:{F57277118}
@krobinson Noted. I have asked Adyen about this. I see a 6% drop off in the last week.

Adyen had this to say re the declines of. "Transaction FAilure" seen in this screenshot which seem to be the reason code I'm seeing in the console around iDeal refusals -" About this error, it indicates something went wrong from the issuer side. Due to privacy reasons, issuers do not provide specific reasons for the failure. Some reason for failures include: insufficient funds, limit exceeded, technical failures, etc. It's important for these cases the shopper contact his issuer for more details."
I am asking them i0f they can pin this down to a set of specific issuers as I am seeing a variety that I manually scrolled through.
I have raised this with Adyen as well to look into things on their end.

The returns for ACH and SEPA re not chargebacks and shouldn't be tagged as such. They are a delayed bank response. Can we count ACH and SEPA returns as rejects vs CB's? Counting them as chargebacs at all is misleading, there is no consumer dispute process in the ACH/SEPA networks as there is in Credit card networks. For ACH and SEPA they are not disputes but bank returns. Can we therefore label them accordingly?
Agree that ACH and SEPA rejects / returns should be rejects and not recorded as chargebacks. This has been a concern for a while as iDeal SEPA returns are also noted as chargebacks when they are not.

In a conversation with Gr4vy during the week of 6/10/24 they disclosed that Adyen has deprecated the connection to Amazon Pay. The notion of re-enabling Amazon Pay through Gr4vy, once we are ported will need reconsideration. Evelyn will inquire with Adyen about their go-forward plans around AZ Pay or perhaps we can add it as part of another acquirer that we will add through Gr4vy.
Adyen confirm their logic is correct in that they only check for 3 digits.

Here is the info for the Inacct system format from Finance (Angelito): Attached is the import file format. I have notes in the first tab of the file to orient you on how to interpret the data shown. Some notes:
- The Journal Entry Template Tab will show all the data fields that can be fed into Intacct, but not all are required to record a transaction. We would want to review what is available against our reporting requirements to ensure we have all the data fields necessary (this would be a collective we - Advancement, Accounting, FP&A requirement).
- Mapping Review tab shows how the fields in their original settlement file could be mapped - note that this review will need to be redone based on their new file as well as based on our final requirements.
- Transaction Upload Example is a mockup of a transaction file that contains the minimum information we may want to capture.

@Damilare, can you confirm that all transactions that should have been captured are now captured? Also, what is the status of the audit files that should be populating Civi? I'm a bit confused as to where things stand as we see unsettled auths which may be ok and want to be sure we capture these outstanding items in Civi.

We attempted the transactions and these failed as they were declined by issuing banks and now we are retrying them. I just want you to be clear on what is actually happening here to make your decision on how to message this.

@Ejegg To be clear, we weren't suspecting there was any problem. We just want to try to recapture a 4th time since it is allowably by the card scheme rules, so we have as many live donors as possible as we close out recurring donors on Ingenico. Also this is a peak time of year so thought a 4th attempt might rescue some donors as a one shot attempt.
@greg Affinaquest said sometime in the next year the current search will stop working but they have not published a date. They made it clear they are not updating the current search mechanism/approach going forward from now.
