Volunteer NDA for Lucas Werkmeister
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Lucas Werkmeister has been nominated to join the Toolforge standards committee. Committee membership requires signing the Volunteer NDA because in the course of their duties they may have access to unpublished and/or unlicensed source code as well as log files and credentials associated with tools and bots that they did not author. "Privileged Phabricator access" is the Volunteer NDA sub-type explicitly needed.

Sponsors: @bd808, @Lferreira

Event Timeline

As mentioned in T370474#10098474, @Lucas_Werkmeister_WMDE has signed some kind of NDA already. I don’t know if that also covers me (same legal person, different social role) – I’m happy to sign anything if required, and will leave that decision to the Legal team.

I would like to sponsor @LucasWerkmeister for this process so they can be a part of the Toolforge-standards-committee if a new NDA signing is needed.

Oh wait, I totally forgot I signed an NDA for T314527 as well. (And indeed L3 tells me I’ve signed it.) That probably means this task is done?

The next step on https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Volunteer_NDA seems to be "After that, ask in the Phabricator task to make you a member of the WMF-NDA project." Please make @LucasWerkmeister a member of the WMF-NDA project.

In my case, it turned out that I already signed the NDA but wasn’t added to the WMF-NDA project (see T375001); do you still want an email from me?

Hi @LucasWerkmeister if you've already signed an NDA, then no need. Thanks for checking!

bd808 claimed this task.

I added @LucasWerkmeister to WMF-NDA per comments by @LucasWerkmeister and @KFrancis quoted in T375001#10220212
