Quality radio button state not kept when using preview
Closed, ResolvedPublicBUG REPORT

Description

Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

  • Open any Wikisource page in the "Page" namespace in edit mode (e. g. this one)
  • change the colored quality radio button from the current value to another value
  • click "Preview"

What happens?:

  • the quality radio button jumps back to this current value, not the one that was chosen

What should have happened instead?:

  • the new value should be kept in preview mode

Additionally, the text "Page status" written besides these radio buttons is sometimes replace with "<a href="/wiki/Help:Page_status" title="Help:Page status">Page status</a>" (as explained here and there), although this does not appear to be systematic.

May be related (or not) to T344928.

Software version (skip for WMF-hosted wikis like Wikipedia):
