Event Timeline
@Seddon I see something that looks like an action item for communities at https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T334940#8813922 (Vega2 to Vega5 something something).
I'm not sure how much visibility was given to that instruction, or how many communities are actively doing anything about it. Thoughts?
I talked to Seddon, and we drafted a Tech News update for Monday's edition. https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Tech/News/2023/19
Graph was only re-enabled on mediawiki.org, test.wikipedia.org and test2.wikipedia.org so now getting disabled again there isn't really newsworthy IMO. At some point the WMF should probably give a new estimate on what we expect to be able to restore and when, but we need to revise plans first. I don't think there's an urgent need to communicate something before that.
(Although since the last Tech News did mention re-enabling on mediawiki.org, the next one should maybe mention it's disabled again due to us becoming aware of new security issues.)
If there are further needs, then a new task can be opened. (Seddon to be surveyed for this one, @RZamora-WMF ).
