Each of our undergraduate and graduate degree programs at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business are designed to maximize the school’s global mindset, access to leading scholars across disciplines throughout the university to cultivate an interdisciplinary focus on solving complex challenges, and location in the global capital city of Washington, D.C. Combined with the university’s centuries-old Jesuit tradition, McDonough graduates gain a values-based approach to business that prepares them to make a difference for both their future organizations and the common good.

The McDonough School of Business and Walsh School of Foreign Service offer an interdisciplinary B.S. in Business and Global Affairs through the prestigious Dikran Izmirlian Program, preparing students to lead at the intersection of business and policy.

The College of Arts and Sciences and McDonough School of Business offer a joint degree in International Business, Language, and Culture that integrates essential elements of the business curriculum in international business with a tailored program in one foreign language.

MBA: Full-time

The Full-time MBA blends a global management curriculum with a values-based approach to business to ensure you are prepared to drive positive change in the world today. MBA: Flex

The Flex MBA offers the same faculty, signature Global Business Experience, and access to the MBA Career Center as the school’s Full-time MBA, but allows you to balance the demands of a rigorous degree program and full-time employment on your own time. Through the Flex MBA, you can exceed the expectations you never thought were possible.

The part-time Flex MBA is now offered in either an in-person or online format, allowing you to choose the best fit for you. Executive MBA

Our flexible Executive MBA delivers the skills, confidence, and knowledge you need to create meaningful change. Georgetown’s vibrant D.C. campus provides unrivaled access to global leaders across industries, plus opportunities to engage with our renowned faculty. Our 21-month EMBA is customizable, with a variety of electives aligned to your particular interests. The program’s hybrid format balances flexibility with the support of our collaborative community, with in-person classes held on campus one weekend per month and convenient online classes in between.

Executive MBA Dubai

The Executive MBA Dubai program brings Georgetown University’s top-ranked Executive MBA to the MENASA region, with monthly class weekends held in-person at the DIFC Academy. Designed for working professionals, the course spans 20 months and offers senior decision-makers and executives the opportunity to advance their international and regional business capabilities and gain a deeper understanding of how to lead public or private organizations in the region and beyond. Students learn from the school’s U.S.-based professors and participate in three week-long residencies in both Dubai and Washington, D.C.

Master’s in Management

The Master of Science in Management (MiM) program is a 10-month, STEM designated, full-time program designed for recent undergraduates from all backgrounds with 0-3 years of work experience looking for a way to launch their careers. Choosing the MiM program means choosing a globally engaged community with a focus on building the technology and innovation skills necessary to be competitive while doing business for good.

M.S. in Finance

Georgetown University’s online Master of Science in Finance (MSF) program transforms today’s best professionals into rising industry leaders. This world-class curriculum and revolutionary blended online learning platform deliver the essential skills to take your finance career to the next level. The program is available either part time or full time over 21 months for the traditional track or over10 months for the (full-time) accelerated track.

M.S. in Global Real Assets

Offered in partnership with our Steers Center for Global Real Estate, the M.S. in Global Real Assets (MS-GRA) will expand your knowledge and resume by focusing on how the real estate industry is evolving. You will be prepared to influence and drive the investment, development, and implementation of resources in the built environment. The 11-month program includes small classes and individualized attention, dedicated career support, and opportunities to step outside the classroom for experiential learning, including a global consulting project.

M.A. in International Business and Policy

Georgetown’s Master of Arts in International Business and Policy (MA-IBP) delivers a strategic blend of business knowledge and policy expertise to help you achieve your goals in our increasingly interconnected world. Offered by Georgetown’s Walsh School of Foreign Service and McDonough School of Business, this one-year interdisciplinary program blends the strengths of the oldest and most highly regarded school of foreign service in the world with a top-tier business school.

McDonough’s Custom Executive Education Programs draw expertise from across Georgetown University and the extensive Washington, D.C., network of business and policy leaders to create programs tailored to the specific needs of corporate clients. We offer a range of program themes, including global leadership, change and innovation management, business analytics, stakeholder engagement, and corporate responsibility. 

Previously Conferred Academic Degree Programs

The Executive Master’s in Leadership (EML), Global Executive MBA (GEMBA), and Corporate International Master’s in Business (CIM) degree programs are on pause and are not accepting applications at this time. The EML degree, which operated for nearly 20 years as a traditional degree program, is currently offered as a customized degree program for individual organizations seeking to equip their executives with the tools, techniques, and mindsets to lead into the future, including most recently for the D.C.
