Historical data
[edit]The original chart that showed the results of the entries made by Wikipedians was added to the article in August 2006. The source sample size was 78 persons who listed themselves in one of the categories.
The October 2018 chart, currently at the top of the article, is based on a sample size of 111 persons. The largest grown between the August 2006 sample and this sample was the growth by 4% in the Other category. This was followed 2% growth in the Total Geek category, and 1% growth in the Geek category. The largest decline was in the Major Geek category which lost 6% followed by the Extreme Geek category of 1%. The Super Geek category remained unchanged.
