From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki
My name is Andrew Owens, and I am a 36-year-old Western Australian editor. I joined English Wikipedia in March 2006 and am also active on Wikimedia Commons. I have been the secretary of Wikimedia Australia since 2013, and previously served two terms as general committee member from 2009−2011. I ran the first Wiki Takes events in Australia after picking up the concept at Wikimania 2011 in Haifa, and have been involved in numerous real-world projects in my home state with fellow editors. The best way to get in touch with me is by email or by my talk page.
