The idea of submitting an application to kickstart the development of the Tyap Wiktionary came after the successful completion of the second in-person training workshop by the proposed Tyap Wikimedians User Group members, led by me, tagged "A Hatch-Tyap-Wikipedia In-person Training Event 2 (Kaduna Special Edition)" hosted. The Africa Eduwiki Collaborators Network is a community of volunteers passionate about Wikimedia in Education. The network has been in existence for a while, however in other to amplify the impact and opportunities that this network offers, a Telegram and the Facebook group was created which brought like-minded volunteers into a shared space to enhance learning and collaboration.
